Outmaneuver the Motion
Started out just making another yearly sampler where I'd pick a song, shoot some clips and post it up as a visual reminder of where I was at as well as to show others where I was, not only for people to enjoy but also for constructive criticism. Time kind of rolled around where I usually get my yearly sampler out and I just didn't feel very motivated, was stuck doing a lot of conditioning stuff and coaching predominantly without a whole lot of personal training, and I didn't really feel like I'd had a whole lot of progression at the time. To kind of try and get over that I went out to a new park and that's where I found the tree you see in the first and last clips, and for whatever reason it really inspired me, and I spent the next hour or 2 trying to get from one side to the other as fast as I could, however I could. This not only rekindled my spirit a bit but it also helped get me back on track from thinking about what certain movement I could do in a certain place, restraining myself to "moves" essentially rather than challenging myself and using movement in ways I'd not originally thought. This made the video a whole lot more personal, made me want to make it completely my own, so I worked on creating the music, which was new to me, along with editing all the footage as well. Rather than title it something like "2010 Sampler Jereme Sanders" or something I thought that Outmaneuver the Motion worked well as I was getting back into just moving, not worrying about the motions, just moving and let my creativity and mind do what it wanted. This was the result, Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it.
