Yesterday held a definite amount of new experiences haha.
I get picked up by Josh and Devin and we head over to his side of town for a bit of training. Nothing unusual, we get there stop for food, then on our way to the park we are stopped by a passing train. we wait for a bit then devin decides it'd be a good idea to jump onto it, so Devin and I run and jump onto the moving train, We jump back off before the bridge then head to the car. They both tell me that if we ride the train it will take us to the park, so naturally I think it'd be fun to do so. Devin and I then jump back onto the train and head to the park, just a forewarning, jumping off is tricky as hell, but that being said I don't condone nor recommend trying it.
After some fun Parkour/quadrupedal Tag for about an hour we head to the caves, where we end up doing some real fun cliff diving, one of which off a 20ft plus area over a tree in the cliff, was a great time but the water was really cold. Did that for a coupe hours then as we were heading back we get pulled over for having a cover on the license plate, stupid right? anyway that was the last interesting thing of the day. but something is kinda brewing here and I really don't know if I want to try again, then again I may just follow tyson's advice and see what happens

Amazing Training
Had one of the best times downtown in like a month, worked a ton of stuff, got J step Gainers, Found a huge amount of new things playing follow the leader, worked a great amount of balance, precision, everything just came together and worked today, I felt the progression hahaha. Also got pop ups about mouth height. It was just an all round really good day, also may be cliff diving tomorrow which is even more fun. Have a girl interested in it, Becca, and for her first day, she did pretty great, if she stays disciplined she can go really far, I see a lot of potential in her.
These are the days I live for, and I hope for a lot of them in the future, kicking my training into overdrive.

Running
Ran for the first time today since the summer....and it wasn't pretty. Really disappointed in myself but I guess what do I expect not running for almost a year, oh well, only more to improve I suppose.

Reimer's
Was fun as usual. Started off kinda slow but things picked up, did a lot of easy leads, spent the whole day there basically, and as usual it was pretty amazing. Left elbow was bothering me a bit, when will I ever learn that muscle up stuff on rings without warming up is an intensely stupid idea....oh well, I think I'm going to take it really easy this next week on my arms to let it heal up a bit, maybe focus on running instead or something, who knows.

Rings Time
My Rings Came in today, so I got to do a bit of good muscle up, skin the cat, back lever and push up work, fun stuff.
Also got a haircut, but yeah, you probably can't tell, feels a lot better though.
Training tomorrow should be fun, then on sunday some good old climbing at Reimer's Ranch, really looking forward to this weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Peace

Out of Sight, Out of mind
Had an ok day today, still hurt and I don't know why, probably just being stupid as usual, but the upside is I had some really really good training today. Started off like usual but turned into about an hour and some change of some blind follow the leader, had a lot of quadrupedal, bridge walks, brachiating, lachers, dip hops, and a couple other things, was a ton of fun and I enjoyed it a lot, helped me get my mind off of things for a bit, and was definitely a refreshing change.

Pecos Climbing Trip and a Good Nights Training
Well in Short the Climbing Trip to the Pecos River was pretty amazing. Had some great climbing, did a 5.11 or two, as well as lead for my first time outside. Had a ton of fun and that place was just insanely beautiful, I could spend a whole week there and not be satisfied. It was a ton of climbing, jumping around, camping, with a dash of cliff diving thrown in (pics to follow soon hopefully)
Back in SA now, just had some good training, girlfriend broke up with me so I needed a little bit to ease the nerves, not a long relationship at all, a grand total of probably a week but still it always sucks, it happens though, should be used to it by know, don't know why I even tried, oh well. Training was fun, some good stuff, got to work a bit of the high underbar as well as muscle ups in addition to some good old fashioned conditioning and technique drills. Broke a new guy, Josh, in and he looks like he could be pretty promising. But yeah things are like they always are here, better get used to it again.

Chi-Town, Climbing, and Falling down again
This was quite the ordeal but was definitely fun as hell. Everything was pretty good until Heading back from the performance, but I'll get to that Later.
Starts with a nice 2.5 hour rest, waking up at 3:00 and leaving at 3:30 am to head for Austin so I can catch my flight to chicago. That goes off without a hitch and I end up in Chi-Town about 8:45. Wait for a good deal Till Brian "Akh" shows up and then after some google beanie and dime hackie sack Will "Willgrind" joins up with us and we make our way out of the airport via what I like to call the rail snail. After getting off of what is the slowest train I've ever witnessed in my life we end up wandering around in some semi ghetto areas as we look for our hotel, we also end up taking a break at the smallest KFC/Taco Bell ever. Got to witness a Chicken Hole and a Steak Chalupa which is yeah...you had to have been there. After that short lunch we finally find the hotel and proceed to be lazy bums in the hotel most of the time, playing coin-basketball-free-throw-kind-of-whatever-game, nice ring to it right? We also took a short break for some jumping around while we waited for pizza, brian and I slipped on precisions pretty nicely, who would have thought that when asphalt was wet you'd slip?
Unbeknownst to Us Leonn was getting owned by delays which is a small foreshadowing of what Will and I would soon be experiencing. Leonn ended up getting in around 2ish with Haack and I didn't see them till the morning. So yeah, next morning I meet Leonn, Cloud and Haack for the first time and after a small breakfast we head to the Campus. The only indoor performance of the tour, it went well, performance wise anyway, Turnout was pretty small since we were in some random corner of the rec center but it was still a ton of fun and I got to meet a lot of great guys. After a bunch of random games like tag, RUN (horse basically) and some more tag every piece of merchandise was pretty much all taken up. Since it was the last stop of the tour all the shoes were given away so the chicago guys really lucked out haha. After the performance Leonn had to leave immediately and Will and I get the awesome information about all the MD80s being grounded for inspection thus 900+ cancelled flights...awesome.
Anyway we end up instead of searching the town which I would have loved, spending more time in the damn airport(being helped by an extremely nice attendant, Thanks Monika!) and then taking a extremely long trip to our Socialist Hotel. So you can think Will and I would be extremely tired after all that performing and dumb airport madness so after shopping around for the room we head to ask for some delivery brochures, but wait it gets better. "We don't allow outside advertisement since we have a 24-7 restaurant" says the indian hotel concierge whatever the crap he is...sweet. So since we didn't want to by a 23 dollar 6oz steak we just start walking outside were there just happens to be a nearby hotel. Will, being the brilliant giant that he is, decides it would be a good idea to sheck out that hotel and see if they had some brochures. As luck, or maybe skill would have it, they did and we spent the rest of our night with some really good chinese take out.
7am today we wake up and drag our weary bodies back on to the shuttle which leads to the amazing airport again...fun. We split up initially since I still got stuck with the American Airlines. We both end up getting the awesome extra security check ticket so we deal with that, and since I basically know the airport after spending 10 plus hours in it at that point in time I find will and watch him get rubbed down for housing terrorists in his massive frame. We chill till his plane leaves then part ways, cool guy, glad to have met him. My flight gets delayed slightly, no biggie, met a nice girl named jenny and talked with her for most of the flight. then my next one gets owned, and I end up getting into houston around 740pm. Forgot to mention since the whole md80 disaster houston was the closest place I could get to, so yeah. Anyway after talking with Erin for a good 30 minutes, nice break from the whole company of only my headphones, thoughts and recurring theme of waiting in airports.
Ma gets to me around 9 ish and we are on the road by 940. I got home about an hour and a half ago and I am extremely drained and tired. Tomorrow is going to bring a couple things. I have to wake up early for a work meeting, hopefully have a talk with Erin (which is not a good thing, and I'm....just...yeah...about it...hope its not as bad as I think) and then leaving for a nice rock climbing trip which i am really excited about, haven't climbed outside in a really long time and given the possibility of what may happen tomorrow, this will be a great time for me to vent some of all the crap I'll be feeling soon. Oh joy...
Peace guys

Almost Chicago Bound
I should be leaving for Chicago sometime tomorrow (tuesday) so that'll be pretty tight, kind of excited about it, it'll be good to get another performance in as well as train with and meet some of the chicago peeps and who I'm performing with, looking forward to it.
Final Climbing Comp stats I think are like 6715 or something, I'm not completely sure but I can find out and get back to you guys about that.
Things with me as of late were pretty damn good but not sure whats on the horizon so yeah, uncertainty can breed fear if I let it, just have to keep my mind on the prize, prepare for the worst, so if the best happens I'm great, and if it doesn't I'll still be ok. I think this always happens to me though, seems to never fail. Challenges are all about overcoming them I suppose though, I wish this kind of obstacle wasn't so damn difficult for me though...

Comp Day 3
Today was a long day, not sure why, I'm pretty exhausted though...
As for the comp, got 40 as usual, 42 actually but yeah
Making a decent 13 minute average per set of 10 on the wall, got kind of lightheaded and dizzy for the first set and my 3rd my left arm felt kind of weird, otherwise though it was good, and a bit faster than usual

Comp. Day 2
Trying to set up different strategies to complete faster, as of now we are getting about 10 laps every 15 min. and switching off every 10 laps, was slightly faster for the 20 laps, then 10. One of the holds broke on our route though, so it will be kind of interesting to see how it affects Cris and I, so far though, so good. We are also considering going all out on the last day to just kind of put a bit of competition between us, not sure yet.
